Here is the deal: A while back I downloaded the trial version of Suitcase Fusion 3 and tried it out. I DO NOT LIKE IT AT ALL because it has been causing trouble. I want to remove it but now that the trial is over, I can't access the program without buying it. How can I uninstall it safely. I have CS5 and now the FMcore won't start and I can't open anything from CS5 (which I need because I'm going to school for graphic design). Please Help!!!! I have no idea how to solve this!

Have you tried the method as described for Fusion 2?

Sounds like a nightmare.

Just tried this method with Suitcase Fusion 3 and it worked like a charm :)

I saw this before but the problem is that since the 30 day trial is over, I cant complete the second part of deactivating the plugins using the plugin manager.....
Any other ideas? And yeah this is a total nightmare. I was thinking about purchasing suitcase until this happened.

Have you tried uninstalling the plugins the manual way?

Before I try this I have two questions.

1. I have tried dragging the .aip files and the likes to the desktop but it just copys it (i was doing this to be safe just in case). Do I need to just drag it straight to the trash?

2. Photoshop is not mentioned in the manual way, should I just do the same thing for photoshop as im going to illustrator and indesign?

After answering these, I will go ahead and take the plunge. I apologize for dragging this out but you can understand why I need to be 100% sure!!! I use these programs everyday for school so yeah.

I'm also in college (first year) for graphic design so I completely understand how devastating it could be.

I dragged things directly to the trash and it seemed to work fine... I also didn't bother with going into photoshop's preferences and just followed the instructions on the website step by step. Seemed to fix everything for me but if your photoshop seems to be the problem I'd say do the same thing and delete the files just keep a copy of it somewhere else for safety purposes.

It worked!! Thanks!

It worked! For the most part anyway. It still comes up when starting Photoshop (any ideas for which file I need to trash for that one?) Thanks sooo much everybody. I will NOT be buying suitcase haha I think an application that makes it this hard to remove is just not safe....

Thanks for all your help guys!!! :D

Worked for Me!

Go to Finder > Macintosh HD (or your HD name) and search "extensis", you should see all the plugins for illustrator, photoshop etc, just drag to trash. Launch the apps to make sure they work before dumping the trash completely. It should work!
