Hello I hated my droid until I had to change the battery on my Iphone 5!! It was held in so tight by that double sided tape or whatever holds it in that I had to destroy the old battery to get it out. But, thats not the problem! I put the phone back together and plugged it in I got a picture of a cord and an arrow pointing to an ITUNES icon. Never saw this before. My phone wont turn on! I plugged it into my computer and it said this phone needs restored before you can use it. So I pushed the restore phone button. It took about 20 minutes and it was finished. I got the usual battery indicator on the screen, but the phone still doesn't turn on. As I was staring at it, it reverted back to the cord-arrow-Itunes icon deal again. It still wont come on I don't have a clue what to do with this thing! Does anyone have any ideas? Thanks in advance!

LOL - destroy it? this is a very expensive fragile electronic device. You are wrestling so hard you are destroying the battery? (prolly cracked/broke solder joints on the board).

It's done, finished. You effed it up unfortuatly
I would see if I could sell it for parts to one of the many repair places on the internet, (there are a lot of pieces that are reusable and you might be able to get some coin back for it).

Next time, (if there IS a next time), simply grab your mom or sister's hairdryer, and heat the adhesive up. you would be shocked how easy they come out, (I just did 2 of them on sunday).

Live and learn Pal, we ALL go thru it, (no one is exempt) :)
