HELP, replaced screen now problems

so i replaced my Digitizer and LCD both and everything was going okay, i hooked everything back up and the phone powers up and shows the apple nice and bright for only a second then it becomes very dim and stays dim..i tried adjusting brightness and it does not make any diffirence....the touch scren works fine just very dim...also my speaker doesnt work. I can only hear people on speakerphone...is there something i forgot to do? Or something i should be looking for to fix this?? Hoping someone can point me in the right direction... Its an iPhone 3GS 16GB.

If an answer exists, you'll be able to find it on here. I haven't done a 3GS before so I can't help you personally but everything I know for repairs is from the guides on ifixit
