My windows is not properly working need re-installation.
But unfortunately when i start my macbook with bootable cd it boot from hard drive and installation is not starting.

i need to change the boot sequence from hard drive to CD can anyone help plz ....

Thanks

Press the option key during boot up and you should be able to select what drive to boot up from.

Additionally within OSX you should be able to select the optical drive from the startup disk preference within the system preferences.

Dear once i press option key at strtup it gives 2 options windows , cd.
one selecting cd it stuck on selecting 1 or 2 option to boot from cd.

And at this screen keypad stop responding.
Plz guide....Thanks

Press the "C" key while booting. This will boot from a bootable CD if available, if not then there's something wrong with your OptiDrive or boot CD.

You can't make the CD the default boot drive without a key press (option or C)
