Hey folks! Trying to resize a bunch of photos for a digital picture frame. I am using Automator to do so. Here is what I don't understand:
When I select the Photos action, I am only given the option to scale images which only gives me the option to scale by pixels and percentage. Moreover, it only gives me a single dimension to choose. For example I can scale the images to 800 pixels. What does that mean? I thought you needed to specify the height AND width you wanted, like 800 x 600? Does this mean all of my images have to be square? Or is this the width dimension and it automatically locks the aspect ratio?
Any thoughts on this? I have found a tutorial here, but for some reason, he has better resizing options. Why? Does he have a 3rd party app installed? Here is a screen shot of what I mean if you don't want to watch:
