HELP Restore 4.0 or 4.0.1

just picked up a iphone 4 from someone yesterday
went home cleared all media and data from the phone
now i cannot restore it through itunes unless it is 4.0.2
anyway around it? can someone elses SHSH file work for my phone? just need to get it back to 4.0 or 4.0.1

I think you are out of luck on that one my friend! You need the files that belong to the phone to restore.

Other than waiting for 4.1 jailbreak, there's nothing you can do at the moment.

Nope. You only have the option of 4.0.2.
