L LegendKillerUK macrumors 6502 Apr 9, 2010 398 0 Mar 13, 2011 #2 I can only speak for the 3G iPad but I imagine Apple also updated the baseband on the iPhone making downgrading impossible. Only bet would be the greenpois0n jailbreak as that forced my iPad to boot with the newer baseband on 4.2.1.
