Help! Restored from iCloud but contacts and messages gone

Is there anyway to do this? Notes weather and calendar all synced.

How do I get my contacts and messages back?

Just do a restore from back up on iTunes, I don't think messages are stored in icloud...

Verify that your contacts are synced online by logging in on iCloud.com. If they aren't, then contacts sync was probably turned off on your 6s.

Messages are usually part of the backup file and don't show up on iCloud.com. It should've been included in the backup, if it was performed successfully.

I had to restore using a backup on iTunes. I tried it with icloud, but I had the same issue.
