Help Retrieving Voice Memo in Text

I have a voice memo that seems to have been lost at some point over the years probably during an iOS upgrade. I'm trying to retrieve it, I know it is in my messages somewhere as it was sent via Messages years ago and I never delete my messages. Outside of constantly tapping at the top and getting old messages to reload (would take forever as I'm trying to go a year or two back) how can I retrieve this? If I go to the info part of the message and look at attachments it shows but isn't loading.
