Help! Safari-Can tab browsing be a default?

Is it possible to set "open a link in a new tab" as a default on Safari? I know that one can open a link in a new tab by "Pressing command when clicking a link" and choose "Open in new tab" option, but this is way to cumbersome. Thanks!

no but Saft a plugin for Safari supports this. well worth it IMO has lots of other good features aswell
