help: Safari won't download from bad certificate sites?!

hi,

i frequently download files from a site that uses an unsigned certificate. I think that means they use SSL/https, but haven't paid for their certificate, they just made their own one.

Anyway, I can still view the site in safari, but I can't download any files from it. The downloads just fail, with no option to override the obvious security mechanism.

Can anyone help me?

yeah i am having to use firefox just for the download. that suxors! oh well,
