HELP - scanner not working with snow leopard

I installed SL and now my Canon MP470 scanner/printer won't scan, it does print. I installed the print drivers from Canon http://www.usa.canon.com/cusa/suppo...ixma_mp_series/pixma_mp470#DriversAndSoftware.

It still won't scan. Any ideas - I have found SL to be time-consuming beyond words......

Thanks for the reply. I found drivers and software on Canon's site. I downloaded these and navigator opens/stays open now, and I am able to scan. Hopefully that is the resolution.
