HELP! Scanner won't work

so, I recently set up my airport wireless system and after much trouble, I got my HP Photosmart C4280 All-In-One series to print through it.
My issue is, the printer also has a scanner, which wont work through the airport and no matter what I do, I cant get it to work

will someone please tell me how?
