So my little daughter banged on the keyboard while I was working today, and OSX did something to zoom the screen in about 15%. Everything's a bit fuzzy, and when I move the mouse right, left, up, or down the screen shifts in that direction.

How can I make it go back to normal???? It's driving me crazy! Thanks.

Hold down the CTRL button and scroll down with your mouse.

Fantastic. My eyes and sanity thank you tremendously. I was trying to sift through various Apple help websites on the crazy screen but the answer was strangely elusive. All better now - thanks again!

My post was deleted because somebody assumed I had posted to press Command+Option+Control+8, which inverts your display colors.

In fact, I posted to press Command+Option+8, which enables or disables zooming.

Watch that itchy trigger finger, mods. I think I've been here long enough to not be accused of shenanigans and I would think you know more about Mac OS X to know the difference between the commands...
