Hey guys, currently I have an iPhone 4 (Black, 32GB) and a MacBook Pro 15', (2008 model, Core 2 Duo 2.66 GHz, 4GB RAM, 256 GB). My iPhone has quite a big dent in the top corner, and 2 scratches on the metal band, and sometimes the home button is not responsive. My MBP has some dents too and has some issues with its touchpad.

Now I have some budget, and I want to sell either, or both of them to buy other devices.

If I sell my MBP, I am able to buy MBA 13' (2011 model, 1.86 GHz, 2GB RAM, 128 GB SSD). If I don't sell it, I will buy iPad 2 instead (so keeping both MBP + iPad 2).

If I sell my iP 4, I am able to buy another new iP 4, or wait for iPhone 5. If I buy iPad 2, then I will not buy iPhone anymore. I will instead consider Blackberry Torch 9800, Bold 9780, or wait for Bold 9900. Android phones come to my mind too (I used to use HTC Desire), and I may consider HTC Desire Z, Motorola Droid 2, or wait for Samsung Galaxy S II (which has dual core 1 GHz). I don't like Window 7 phones.

I am still thinking about what to buy and what to sell. Can you please give me some pieces of advice on this? Thanks ^^

P.S. 1: I am a college student, so I only need a laptop for word/excel/powerpoint; surfing internet, chatting, movies (I have a WD 2 TB anyway so the storage on laptop is not important), music, and a bit of gaming (not games that require high spec). I travel quite a lot so I need either MBA/Ipad 2 for convenience.

I would like to ask if you can use MBA as your main computer given above needs.

P.S. 2: I need either iPad or iPhone (I don't want iPod Touch), simply because I have a hell lot of Apple Store games and apps and I don't want to throw them away.
