I have a friend who every time they send me a text it shows up coming from their email address. Is this a setting on my phone or theirs and how do you fix it so it shows it coming from their actual name? Thanks.

Add their email to a contact on your phone and it will show up as a name instead of an email.

I have iMessage set to send from my email even on my phone. Conversely, you can set Messages on a Mac to send from the phone number.

Yes, I use my email address as the from address from my imessages, but as long as the recipient has my email address in their contacts it just shows up as coming from my name.
