HELP: Setting up Mobileme with IMAP:deleted old mail?

So i have an imap account that i use with Mail and i wanted to foward to mobileme. I had several important emails in my inbox from my imap account and when i set up the mobileme and disabled the imap all those emails disappeared. I don't know where they went or how to get them back. I tried setting up my IMAP account to get them again but they weren't on the server.


PLEASE can anyone help me???
