Please help! I don't know if I need to buy a wired router to do the following:

- have cable modem connected to iMac
- have cable modem connected to wireless router (I already have AEBS)
- control AirTunes from iMac or PC laptops

Is it obvious to connect a wired router to the cable modem, and have the AEBS and iMac connected to the wired router? Or is there a better option?

I want to keep the iMac on a wired internet connection for the higher speed (as my AEBS is only wireless "g"). I heard the iMac can also do wireless sharing (which could help here), but this wouldn't work because it will often be turned off.

Thanks!
