Help sharing printer with a windows machine!

I have an iMAC. Right now I am connected to a router in my apartment. My printer is a HP PSC-1610 All In One, and hooked up to my computer via USB.
My boyfriend has his Windows Vista machine next to me, but can not find the printer to add on his machine so he can print off the printer.

We are both on the same "Workgroup." But I am not sure what I am doing wrong. Is there a way to make sure I'm seeing him on the network? When he goes into his network properties, he can not see my mac.

start with this:

A) Does he have the Windows drivers for your printer installed on his computer ?

B) Do both of you have file & printer sharing turned on ?

C) Are your Firewalls/Routers set to allow the above, if blocked ?

D) Can he print to the HP if it is directly connected to his computer ?

Get a new boyfriend that has a Mac.
