So,I have an iphone 4 and an ipad 3 both on 6.0.1 and the same email adress and when I go to "settings---mail,contacts,calendars---fetch new data---advanced---yahoo" the push option doesen't appear, where it says"select schedule" there is only "fetch" and "manual" option,on ios 5 there was also push, now nothing, any suggestions?

so,since no one is responding,I restored my iphone to 5.1.1,took a photo and then restored to 6.0.1,you can see the photos below, first with ios 5.1.1 and the second with 6.0.1

same problem here

in the same boat here on ios 6.01 it disappeared when I installed ios 6 ive tried reinstalling the os with a fresh download file and still nothing. I know theres the yahoo mail app that now does push notifications but I prefer the push email feature.

oh and im using the iphone 4s

The yahoo mail app from app store is awful,it laggs a lot and the native mail app is soooo much better,I also updated my iphone 4 to 6.1 beta 4 and the same issue or is just something that apple did to make yahoo users download the yahoo mail app.

iphone 5 and iPad Mini not pushing my emails!

Why can't Verizon fix this push problem. Now It does not push my Yahoo or GMail emails. It still pushes my work emails from Lotus Companion. I've tried everything and nothing helps. This has been going on for about 10 days now.
Now using the separate apps for GMail and Yahoo, which both work but I hate them!
My wife's yahoo emails push fine on her iPhone 5 and iPad Mini. I have the exact same units and NOTHING! Need to go into the iPhone Mail app to retrieve my emails every time.

Just before the 6.1 update, push mail showed in mail settings ,after updating to 6.1,push for yahoo is gone,AGAIN,WHYYYY, Apple is such a cu*t.

just updated 6.1

Just did a full clean install of 6.1 still no push option for me either. I've tried deleting and adding yahoo mail a few times still nothing. Weird my iPad 1st gen has the feature and works fine. Errrrr :(

The weird thing is that just before the 6.1 update release, the push option showed, since the WWDC,no push for iOS 6 and now it showed on 6.0.1.

Finally I found the fix !!!

Delete your email and reset it up and turn on the push notification button and set it to fetch. Let the email fetch your email once and the push feature should reappear after !!! Hope this helps. It worked for me

Ohhh my god,it worked,thank y
