My PB/667 took a fall about 18 mos ago. It's been fine ever since, except there is a single vertical line RIGHT DOWN THE CENTER - top to bottom. It's about two pixels wide and appears to be a bright green/near white color. Any display pixes that fall on this line are not visible.

A coworker suggested that this could be fixed but didn't offer how. Have any of you heard of this sort of issue? Is it fixible?

This PB is still a good machine so any help to keep it going would be welcomed!

It's difficult to comment without seeing, but since it's runs clear across the width of the screen, I think it sounds like LCD damage that wouldn't be easily repaired...

If its not the LCD, it may possibly be the logicboard.* The LCD is more likely the culprit though. The problem is, its tough to tell unless you try things like that which gets expensive in a hurry if you're self diagnosing it.*
