Help: Some files burn to DVD and others won't

I am a new IMac user. I'm using OS 10.6. I have imported pictures directly from a CF card and imported some from a shared network. When I try to burn them to a DVD only the files that I directly imported from the card will burn. I have tried to export the files to the Burn folder and the Documents folder and the same thing happens. Help is greatly appreciated.

I am also running VMware Fusion with CS4. How can I find/see my edited files from Photoshop in IPHOTO?
