My friend and I we're cleaning out stuff I didn't need on my Mac OS X (10.5.8) In the process we accidentally deleted garageband, does anyone know how I can get it back? (Trash was cleared >.<)
Do you have the disks that came with the computer?
Do you have the discs? that came with the computer? I don't think there is any other way... Lol. Unless you go to the Mac App Store and get it for like $20, there's not really a way that is easy.
Only problem is that you are still running Leopard, and you need Snow Leopard for the Mac App Store
For this computer (Macbook) I got a special deal with it, since doing that all the applications and what not came installed with it, so this would mean I would have to buy it off the apple store?

Do you or don't you have the grey Restore DVDs that normally come with Macs? If you have them, use the second DVD as advised three times.
If not, you can ask Apple for replacement DVDs, which should cost around 30 USD.
I have the same problem for my iBook G4? I have two Leopard DVDs. Retail though. Couldn't I just get it from like frostwire or something? Im running Leopard 10.5.8 on an iBook G4 1.33 GHz PowerPC.
