Help! SSD installation and stuck at the Apple Logo.

Just a few questions for those that have done the ssd install.

I am pretty technical but for some reason this is kicking my ass.

I have the crucial 64GB m225 and a i5 macbook pro.

I am looking to install the os but on boot holding down the option key it locks up at the apple.

I put the regular drive in it all works.

any ideas?

Also i can put it in a macbook and install and os no issues. It works great. I pull it out and it locks the the mbp at the logo.
