Hi All,
My daughter just purchased an iPod mini, and as part of that we installed the iPod software that came with it, plus I ran the System Update software to upgrade the version of iTunes (don't know what version it was, but I'm current now as of yesterday)

At any rate, ever since then, we've been getting an odd message pop up every minute or so that says:
"The movie file 'orig_005b9db0.IETemp' cannot be found. Without this file, the movie cannot play properly" with Cancel & Search buttons.

I've trashed the plist file and restarted iTunes, but it's still doing it. If this were Windoz, I'd swear it was a virus or spyware or something.

Anyone have a clue as to what this is and how to stop it?

Thanks!

Look here for the solution. Sounds like you're not the only one.
Thanks! That did the trick. What's odd is a) iTunes loads movies? and b) if we weren't attempting to play a movie, why was iTunes trying to play a movie without our asking it?

Ah well. It's all good now.

Thanks!
