Hi guys..

I'm having problem in my iPhone 3G after I update my phone to 3.x.x (something like that) and finish the update my screen stuck in "Emergency Call" and when I'm plugin into Itunes it say "The SIM card inserted in this iPhone does not appear to be supported."

I'm new to this. Pls help me.

I try restoring by holding the power button and home button but its not help.

what else information? like what? like firmware version? Firmware Version: 3.1.3
 
Have you tried a "reset" reboot? Hold both the Home button and the on/off top button down simultaneously until the Apple logo appears, then let go of both buttons.
 
Is your phone locked to the original carrier? It maybe that if it was unlocked it wasn't done by Apple try different sims and see if that works.
 
Try to kick out of recovery with tinyumbrella. That works for me.
A near second is recboot. Easy instructions within the tweak.
