Resolved Help! Studio Display not working (solved)

Had my Studio Display for a month and the sound seems to have given up the ghost. It will play for a couple of seconds and then stop. I tried it with two different MacBooks and both show the same problem. What on earth?! This is already my second Studio Display as I returned the first one due to sleep problems. Tell me someone here knows there's an easy fix. Please tell me this is not another return!! Nooooo

I tried unplugging the monitor, plugging it back in a minute later. It would not come on (panic). Did a few more times. Unplugged all sorts and plugged back in.

It's now working again.

I'm experiencing this same problem. Have tried a few things to fix it but with no luck. When I which the output to my Mac Studio it plays. but when I switch back to the display it last for a second or two and then gets choppy and then stops.
