So I have a problem. I have a 13" 2009 unibody MBP.
I have taken out the optical drive to replace it with a SSD, and the SATA cable for the optical drive was different than the solid state one. This resulted in the SSD port not being the right one for the SATA cable on the computer. I am guessing there is some adaptor I need to do this.
Can I get some help here.
Also, is it crucial to have a caddy to hold your SSD or, theoretically would glue or electrical tape work?
Thanks for the help guys.

Optibay, google it. there are many threads about this issue, probably 3 on the1st page in this section alone.

you can ghetto mod it with bunch of electrical tape or buy a optibay caddy.. pretty much the only optuon if you ask me..
