I am switching from windows and find file management in OS X very frustrating. In particular, I am trying to move files to an external hard drive that is attached to mac and will be a media server. My current 3tb external drive with media is NTSC formatted. It's Seagate so I am using free Seagate NTSC disk utility. Will it be ok to use another NTSC drive (which seems to be liked by OS X without disconnects) for my files or exfat would be more stable? The source NTSC drive randomly dismounts so I have to restart file copying and it's might be the drive issues.
Thanks!
