HELP! Sync my iPhone 3G to my new MBP (from older 12")

I just got my new MBP and when I plugged my iPhone 3G into the usb port I got a message that I needed to erase and re sync it to my new computer for it to work since it was already synced to my old powerbook 12". What do I do? Is there a deauthorization thing that needs to happen?? How do I make the new MBP the default syncing device?
