I am using the feature that sends iMessages and SMS directly to my Mac, through my phone. Running 10.10.3 and iOS 8.3.
When the notification goes to the Mac, I don't receive a notification (sound or vibration) on the phone unless I unlock it or am already using the phone.
This is fine while I am at my computer, however it persists even when I am not home. If somebody sends me an iMessage, I do not receive a notification on my phone until I use it next.
Is this standard? It doesn't seem very practical.
