Help! The volume button pops up and goes down without me pressing the volume key! Am I hacked?

This is seriously freaking me out. I am on my MBPr and all of a sudden the volume button popped up and volume went down. I turned off bluetooth, but it did it again. I wasn't pressing any buttons.

Joking aside... maybe it's the button mechanicalism that's gone bad.

It hasn't done it again. I don't know what the heck happened. Maybe something with ambient noise reduction in the "sound" under settings?
