Hello everyone!

After waiting five weeks I have finally received a Optibay for my 15" MacBook Pro (2010 Model). I have done some research on the net and found the two links below to be a huge help.

http://www.ifixit.com/Guide/Repair/...ody-Mid-2010-Optical-Drive-Replacement/3074/1

http://www.iowatechtalk.com/myblog/macbook-pro-mod-additional-storage/

The iFixIt guide says the battery should be removed where as the other site doesn't remove the battery. I was just wondering what others have done? Ideally it would be great to be able to install the Optibay without removing the battery.

Any tips or help would be really appreciated as I've never done this kind of thing before.

Thanks in advance!
