Help to indentify an unknown icon?

To the left of the play icon? I've never noticed it before so I'm sure I must have switched something on by accident.

Strange thing is its not there all the time and if I reboot it goes away and comes back at random.

Its a notification icon. For me it was telling me there was something on my LockInfo screen. (Which I just installed, hense never seeing it before)

how random. today was the first time i noticed that icon, too. just 10 minutes ago i was trying to figure out what it was and then i come across this thread.
