Help to Retrieve Accidental Deleted Photo

My wife just got a brand new ipad2 and she's set up on iCloud. She accidently deleted a photo and a couple of short vid clips.

1. How does she access iCloud to get them back...
2. Is there another way to get them back?

When you go into the Photos app and select the Albums view there should be one entitled Recently Deleted where you can Recover photos deleted 30 days or less.
