Help to Unlock 3GS fw 4.2.1 new bootrom bb 05.15.04

Hello,

does anyone know how to unlock this phone (locked since 5 months after I mistakenly updated my jailbroken phone from 4.1 to 4.2.1 and then clicked Restore in iTunes). Best if it can be unlocked WITHOUT updating to the iPad baseband.

only option at the moment is the ipad baseband..
unlock for that particular baseband is not released yet..

You can pay about $180 for an unlock that is (sort of) official.

thanks! would you recommend to wait, or upgrading to ipad bb isn't such a bad thing? I tried to wait till a clean unlock comes, but this has been taking long and although I am constantly checking what forums or guys like musclenerd say, there is no surety.

personally i would wait.. because if u update to ipad BB it cant b undone..later if u need to change something, u might be stuck..
i know waiting for the unlock is quite frustrating..
again its your decision at the end of the day..
