Hi,

Just ordered a 20" iMac for the family to replace our 5-year old Dell desktop. We all have our iTunes libraries on the Dell. Any idea how to easily copy over to the iMac when it arrives?

Also, we each set up separate iTunes libraries, as we had separate desktops in Windows. I'm guessing there must be a much more efficient way to set it up (we probably have four copies of Rubber Soul on the Dell:eek: ), with one iTunes library that we can each link to, and playlists to drive separate iPod updates.

Thanks for any tips!

The Macrumors powers-that-be have made a nice guide to doing exactly what you are looking for, to transfer music from a PC to a Mac. For sharing a library, do a quick forum search and you should come up with quite a few hits. Here's the Guide.

Edit: Here's the Sharing Guide.

Thanks (that was quick)! Can't wait to get the iMac so we can set it up.
