My Mac was recently stolen, and though most of it was backed up, I did lose some music files that are on my iPhone. I now have a new iMac and need to get some of the music off the iPhone back into iTunes. I did this years ago with an Applescript program, but was wondering what the new 'preferred' method is now. Thanks!

The answer is in this article:

http://www.ilounge.com/index.php/articles/comments/copying-music-from-ipod-to-computer/P0/

You'll need to read through it though as it is a complete iPod, iPhone, & iPod Touch guide.
