I read a thread on how to update their old macbook pro (2008) to have 4 finger swipe function (https://forums.macrumors.com/threads/617645/)
Others got it to work but I seem to hv got myself into big problems now
after rebooting my keyboard and mouse are not responding and so I cant login!
I just got the new unibody MBP and I have connected to my old MBP by firewire and can access the hardrive...
Would really appreciate some help on what to do now to get it back to working again!!
I tried to find the appleusbmultitouch.kext file (previous one) I deleted into trash to try to move it back but i cant seem to find or access the trash from the hardrive ....Thanks for any advice!
