Hi there! For some time now I've been looking for an app that will let me do something specific and I'm wondering if any of you might know of what I'm looking for.
Basically, I have a nice pair of studio reference monitors connected to my computer that I use for listening to music in my iTunes library. Because of this, the Remote app is awesome for letting me be anywhere in my apartment and still exert control over the music. I also have a decent portable iPod dock that I use when I want music when I'm in another room (especially the kitchen which is far from the studio). Obviously the Music app takes care of playing music through that, but what I'd like is for music to be playing simultaneously and synchronously from my computer AND from my iPod while docked so I can use the dock as a pair of satellite speakers. This would be awesome for parties and I always figured there must be a way to do that with an app, maybe just one that syncs the two other apps to play the same music exactly in-sync with each other?
Do you know of any such app or of any other way to achieve this? Or if you're an app developer, is this possible? And if so, I BUY IT!
