iPod help : two ipods and one Library?

Can anyone help? i dont want to loose my big library of songs?

I currently have an ipod with an extensive itunes library- Both connected to this computer. My husband has an itouch (which has an itunes library on an old computer).

As I have an extensive itunes library - I wanted to import a few of the songs from this itunes library onto my husbands itouch. However there was not enough room on his itouch. As his songs were old I decided to restore his itouch to factory settings.

Now that this is done I want to download some of the songs from my current itunes library to his itouch - but I am stuck with a question from itunes:

After restoring my itouch do I:
(a) set up as a new ipod
(b) Restore from the backup of my ipod?

sorry about my bad english, but you shouldnt have restored it. you should just sync in with ur husband library, unchecking songs you dont want on his ipod, and through home sharing transfer the music from your itunes to his..

i guess you should check set up from new ipod and sync with your husband itunes, but wait for some more replies, maybe there's a better way doing this.
