You can find the iOS version and Modem Firmware in:
Settings > General > About

If the Modem Firmware is 02.10.04 or above, sorry, it's not unlockable.

If it's really a UK model it's unlocked.

I bought 3 there and they're all unlocked, even the 1 I got from O2
