I have a jailbroken iPhone 3G running 3.1.3 FW.

I am trying to upload some files to the phone that has unicode filename (Chinese or Korean characters) that are titles of song names. I am using AVPlayer for iPhone to play those songs.

The problem is that for odd reasons, the iPhone was unable to accept any files with unicode filenames when I tried to upload them by SSH'ing to the phone. I also tried to use the built-in FTP server function in AVPlayer to upload the files, but again without success.

I was able to do this in iPhone 3GS.

Does anyone know why? Does iPhone 3G support unicode?
