hi guys,

i was quickly and lazily saving saving some textedit documents to a folder and was leaving them untitled. usually with each progressive textedit document opened textedit adds a number to the title , "untitled document 1, 2, 3, etc"

Somehow I had unsaved untitled documents open with repeat numbers, I was quickly saving them by hitting return repetitively and noticed messags that I was writing over the file by the same name....I know which ones they were, is it possible the files i wrote over are still on my drive?

My drive is Mac OS Extended Journaled..thanks!

BTW I havent restarted yet in case that helps....

There really isn't much you can do about it if a new file name has been re-used. It would have written over the data and I would consider it lost. Hope it wasn't important.
