Hi guys:

I did a backup of my home folder to my internal hard drive which took up 20GB of space. Now I have a LaCie Firewire drive which I have cloned my internal hard drive to with CCC and now I want to free up the space on my internal hard drive. I used Backup 3.1 and I don't know exactly where on my internal drive it saved the files to, so that I can erase them. I am still using 10.3.9.

If I 'Restore to an alternate location', e.g. my new Firewire drive, then delete from the new location, would that work? Or will it still leave the files on my internal drive?
Can anybody help? Please!!!

From an enthusiastic switcher :D

If the backup file isn't immediately apparent, then maybe use OmniDiskSweeper to find it. Run it in an admin account so it has access to most of your hard disk. :)
Thanks mad jew:

Great suggestion. I found the Backup files in a folder called "Backups" of all things! :p Haha. Just deleted it and freed up 9.99GB of Internal hard drive
Woohoo!!!
:D
