Help Uninstaling Safari 4 Beta

hi. i'm having the "messenger: mac typing issue" and decided to go back to Safari 3. I downloaded it from Apple's site but when trying to install it doesn't allow me to select my HD volume because it says there is a newer version.
How should I procede?

Do you still have the .dmg file of Safari 4? If not, re-download it. In the DMG, there are two .pkg files. An Install, and an Uninstall. Run the Uninstall dmg, and -- no more safari.

Then, download Safari 3.2.1 from here

Then, download Safari 3.2.1 from here

No need to download Safari 3.2.1. When you uninstall Safari 4, Safari 3.2.1 is restored automatically, unless you manually uninstalled it first.
