I jailbroke my iPhone a while ago and it basically wasn't for me so I went to unjailbreak it today by restoring it in iTunes and now iTunes says "The sim card inserted in this iPhone does not appear to be supported"

I bought the phone here in Canada from my provider and have never had sim problems till now.

I have tried removign and reinserting the SIM card and restoring it again a couple times to no avail. This thing is my only phone/gps/computer and I am desperate to get it functioning again. please help!

Please give us more info;

1. What kind of phone you have? 2g, 3g, 3gs or Iphone4.
2. Did you restore it with the latest 4.2.1?
3. Which carrier you have now or what it said on SIM?

Base on your post, it's seen like you are not with AT&T. It's seen like when you bought the phone in Canada, whoever activate that for you probably unlock the phone so it works with your current sim. Now, you restore it with Itunes and it locks to AT&T and that the reason Itunes gave you that message.
