Help: Unlocking phone for T-Mobile

Hi,

I'm new here. Where can I find the directions for unlocking the iphone for T-Mobile? I'm on a mac.

What is the best unlocking download?

After unlocking will the phone still have WiFi capability?

Then I don't have to get the T-Mobile internet plan.

Will all applications, you tube and other features still work.

As long as you do not disable WiFi, yes, it will be there.

Will all applications, you tube and other features still work.

Within range of your WiFi, yes (for web-enabled apps)

I used my Mac, this one:

I have T-Mobile voice only. I use only WiFi and that works fine...

Don't update your iPhone aftwards. Keep your old phone handy in case something goes wrong. Keep the AT&T SIM in case you have to bring the phone in for repair or exchange...

Seriously, you may want to reconsidering attempting unlocking your IPhone. . .

Independence doesn't run on my computer. It launches and then crashes. Now what?

Ok - I think you have 3 options:

1. Connect your phone to your Mac, launch ITunes and activate with ATT (my advice to you).
2. Return your IPhone to where you bought it.
3. Go to one of the Forums that are dedicated to hacking the IPhone and helping others do it (hint - the link I posted above and/or howard forums, etc.).

I am not trying to be mean but you IMO you are headed for a bricked IPhone.
