HELP updating 4.0.1 to 4.1

hey guys im kinda new to this but I was wondering what are the steps to updating an unlocked iphone 4 on 4.0.1 to 4.1 ?
will the new limera1n jailbreak support ultrasn0w unlock ?

After I restore the phone, will I need an active AT&T sim card to activate the iphone ? I have an inactive at&t sim, can I activate with that ?

any help is appreciated, thanks.
