Finding app, Getting info about them, Adding them to the PPCStore x50 is a very time consuming thing...

As everyone knows all sorts of apps more than i do, i've created a simple formula to submit apps to the PPCStore :D!

I'll then review your submissions and get all the icons and download link setup for the PPCStore and add it to it ;)

(Apps you send don't need to be yours!)

If you don't have LeopardRebirth, you can get the PPCStore here http://leopardrebirth.net/ppcstore/

Here is the simple page to send apps :) http://leopardrebirth.net/submit/
To prevent spam incase robots see this form and start spamming junk in it i've added a security password: macrumors

Be sure to fill up everything properly, i won't be able to add an app to the PPCStore without proper info (download link etc..)

Thank you :D

Nice, I have plenty of suggestions! ;) For the description box on your page, if we can't find the official description, are we supposed to make up one or leave the box blank?

Well, the way i programmed the PPCStore, i need a description, so if you can provide anything it would be cool, so yeah you can also make it up ;)

Great job! I hope others with coding experience (read: not me, because I really can't code) can do one for 10.4, 10.3, and OS 9.

It's a PowerPC Revival! :D

The PPCStore was already released for a while now, it was included in the LeopardRebirth theme pack :)

People should install an open source OS first.

Maybe they should install MorphOS. I mean, they did the one thing no Linux maker or even Apple has been able to do since 10.3 (make the OS amazingly fast).

Now that the peeing contest is over, let's discuss the Leopard Store.

Even that is more up to date than PPC OSX.

It is not a contest.

AmazingHenry already did one for 10.4, and I wouldn't recommend anything lower than that, because the older operating systems lack the modern features seen in OSes today. Leopard's core frameworks and features JUST passes as modern enough to be a convincing new Mac when a skin is thrown on (LeopardRebirth, Mountain Leopard, etc.), in most cases.

Besides, personally, it wouldn't really feel right for G3s to be "running" a new version of OS X.

But, I digress. This is still a matter to be celebrated about.

Tom, good job!

If it does not get security updates, it should not be connected to a network.

Nobody makes viruses for PowerPC Macs, don't download anything slightly suspicious, don't connect your PPC laptops to a public network, move to Ubuntu.

Be smart, not paranoid. ;)

@SourceSunTom You made the PPC Store standalone? I'll have to give it a try then. Really appreciate all the work you've put into this project.
Maybe they should install MorphOS.
I wonder how many PPC Mac owners would actually pay $90 per Mac just for an alternative to Mac OS X or Linux. My guess is, not many, as $90 is enough to buy a working 2006/2007 Core 2 Duo Mac now. In fact, I recently picked up a Mac Pro 2,1 for less than that.
If software is still made for it, it's not outdated.
If a new design is made for it even more (LeopardRebirth ;)).
Define outdated. Some might say the OS on my 5K iMac is outdated, because I am on 10.12.5 instead of 10.12.6. :)

Tom, I'd like to ask you, what apps are on the PPCStore? I'd just like to know before I start submitting any unneeded ones. :D

Thank you so much for going to the trouble, I really appreciate it! :D

Silly question--Why not have ClickToFlash and ClickToPlugin? Is that one not being made anymore? For some reason, I always needed both for them to work right.

Tom, forget my submission about iStat 3.19. I didn't know it was a trial until it was too late.

Sorry about that.

I think it's only because CTFlash opens up more video opportunities for some very weird reason.

Strange. I recall the makers saying you should only have one of them, or something like that, unless I'm remembering wrong.

I think Flash sends the message saying, "Hey, there's a Flash version on here," and then Plugin comes in the moment it tries to load and says, "NOPE! You load this version instead" or something like that. LOL

It's been a while since I've been on the video hunt in PPC.
